Loretta is a big (for us, anyway!) beautiful sorrel mare with a brave soul and a heart of gold. She came to us, after she was seized by court order, thin and full of anxiety. Her previous life had been racing, so we have been diligently working on retraining her, hoping to slow her mind and feet and learn to enjoy a more leisurely pace. She’s not quite there yet, but she’s making progress. She enjoys covering ground and is looking for a rider who will appreciate her athleticism and energy! Loretta will need an advanced intermediate rider.
