Update 10/1/2024:
Loretta has been working on thinking forward and carrying herself, all while trying to slow everything down. She has made a lot of progress since her return, however she will still need an expert rider at this point. She is starting to carry herself on her own more frequently as well as walk out. She is getting more supple and able to lope/canter
Loretta has been in training for the past few months to learn how to slow her mind, and her feet, down. Since she is an ex-racehorse, she can get very forward and be heavy on the bit, but she is learning to slow her feet and find some softness in her face. She has been exposed to cows and trail rides. Loretta is a high energy horse and will need someone who can help her keep her energy levels low. She will require an advanced intermediate to advanced rider to help her continue learning. Loretta will also benefit from being ridden multiple times a week.
