Nigel is a large, friendly gelding who absolutely loves a good wither scratch. He arrived as a stallion and may have been previously started under saddle. He has an easygoing temperament and is excellent to lead, tie, groom, and tack up. During groundwork, Nigel can sometimes be a bit pushy or aloof, but he’s already showing impressive progress with consistent training. He came in underweight and lacking muscle, so our team is currently focused on building his strength before beginning any under-saddle evaluation.
