Zuma came to THS through the NMLB as an unhandled, feral filly. With patient, consistent socializing from our volunteers, her natural curiosity and friendliness quickly began to emerge. Confident by nature and full of personality, Zuma shows excellent potential to become a versatile riding partner.
Started under saddle in April 2026, Zuma has been willing, engaged, and genuinely enjoys learning. She has a solid training foundation, but she is still considered green and will need an experienced rider who can continue her education and support her progress.
Riding Level: Advanced
Needs Advanced Intermediate Handler: Handler is extremely comfortable around horses, is proficient in training and is experienced with halter training horses. Horse has some halter training and leads and understands basic commands, not consistent; flighty; lack of self-regulation.
