Pancho Villa returned to us after several years with an adoptive home that ultimately did not work out. Cute and sturdy, Pancho has been riding well and is well-suited for an intermediate rider. He loves scratches and tends to be the dominant horse in a herd. He is not a suitable pen or pasture mate with mares.
Needs Intermediate Rider: Rider is comfortable at all gaits and has some problem-solving/training skills; has experience and confidence using rein/leg/seat aids to help a horse maintain speed/direction/cadence/posture; willing to work with a trainer if necessary.
Needs Intermediate Handler: Handler has experience working with reactive/nervous horses and has some problem-solving skills; has the knowledge and skill to de-escalate when a horse gets excited or scared; has some training skills and confidence using them.
