Bug is still making big progress and has had a few different riders on her that have all been impressed with her willingness and athleticism. For her age, her mind set puts her in position to excel in a variety of disciplines. Her curiosity, confidence and demeanor make a stellar combination for a great performance horse. Unlike many of our horses, Bug was born on property and was fortunate enough to come into this life met with love and reassurance. This shows through and through. Standing at 16 hands strong, she is one of our bigger horses and everyone loves Bug. She is not a beginner’s horse however she is manageable by a handy youth. She has been ridden western and English, likes to jump when asked, travels great, and has the foundation to go many directions. Bug is getting stronger at carrying herself and moving off the leg. She has been roped off of and kept her cool and was malleable through the process. A must see!
Bug has now been under saddle for a few months. She is a spirited and athletic girl with a lot of try and energy. She has been ridden in the arena and out on trails. She has enjoyed learning new things and we predict will continue to be that way in the future because she seems to love having a job. She will continue to work on solo trail rides and more fine tuning in her arena work. At this time Bug will need a very experienced rider who can continue her training. She has so much potential and could go many directions with more training.
