Basil came to us as an estray through the NMLB. We have since learned that he is a sale authority BLM Mustang from the Warm Springs HMA and he has had minimal and/or poor handling in the past and is not halter trained. Understandably, Basil is shy and not interested in people after being let down by people possibly numerous times. We are looking forward to getting to know him.
