Annual Auction & Luncheon Fundraiser

The 22nd Annual Auction & Luncheon Fundraiser on Sunday June 1, 2025 from 11am–3pm. This is such a fun event that takes place at our ranch in an 8,000-square-foot, carpeted tent. Lunch will be catered, with complementary drinks. There will be a large silent auction and live auction and the option to take tours of the ranch, to meet our horses.

We hope you can attend. The ticket price is $90 ($50 will be tax deductible.)  Space is limited to 320 attendees.

Driving Directions Link: Google Maps to The Horse Shelter

THS Directions from Santa Fe: Take Rt. 14 south toward Cerrillos. Pass the prison on the right. The next landmark is the Lone Butte General Store & Gas Station. After Lone Butte, go 4.5 miles and take a left onto County Road 55A, also known as General Goodwin Road; there will be signs along 55A to help direct you. About two miles in on 55A, the road will turn right under a train trestle and across a cement arroyo crossing. Stay on 55A for a total of 3.9 miles. The road then splits. Take the road to the right. This is Old Cash Ranch Road or 55B. Proceed about one more mile, and you will see the sign for The Horse Shelter directing you to the right. As you come through our gate, turn left to the barn/paddock area. Continue slowly until you see the big green adobe hay barn to your left. Parking will be on your right.

THS Directions from Albuquerque: Take Interstate 25 north and exit at La Cienega. Turn right, then right again, so you drive south on the Frontage Road. Stay on the Frontage Road for about ¾ of a mile and take a left on Bonanza Creek Road (Route 45). At 6.5 miles, you will come to the intersection with Route 14. Turn right. Go 4.5 miles and take a left onto Rt. 55A, also known as General Goodwin Road. There will be signs along 55A to help direct you.
