Now that Leslie is feeling stronger and has reached a healthy weight, her personality is beginning to shine through. She’s telling us more clearly how she feels, and we’re taking that as an opportunity to slow things down and support her thoughtfully. By moving at her pace and focusing on consistency and patience, we’re working to rebuild trust and help Leslie learn that she is safe, understood, and cared for. With time, we’re hopeful she’ll continue to grow more comfortable and confident with her people.
Needs Advanced: Handler has halter trained and handled several problem horses/professional trainer. Horse is untrained/very green; may strike, bite or kick; extremely reactive.
