Greg Russell grew up in a New Zealand race horse training family. As a young adult he worked in the agricultural/cattle industry, where he met and then had the opportunity to mentor with a renown natural horse trainer. Once coming to the U.S.A. over 20 years ago, Greg has worked from barns specializing in training horses for multiple western disciplines, polocrosse, fox hunting, and Dressage, teaching both horses and riders. He has been Chief Umpire for the American Polocrosse Association for years, and coached several national and international U.S. teams going to New Zealand and Australia. His time spent in a barn that took in polo and racehorses that had broken down, either physically or emotionally, gave Greg a lot of experience in the rehabilitation of athletic sport horses. He has cultivated his business specializing in starting young horses, and rehabilitation of horses with injuries and behavioral issues.
