Patrick Gonzales
Patrick Gonzales is a fifth generation New Mexican, and part of a long standing local
Santa Fe family. Most of his professional life was spent as a hairstylist. Through his pursuit of
success in the industry, he traveled nationally from New York to Colorado, as he delved into the
layered education he desired to amplify his technique and knowledge. As many know, you can’t leave behind
the land of Enchantment, or your passions tied to it. Patrick returned to Santa Fe to own and operate his
own salon for 8 years, retiring in 2018 with an ever growing list of clients who continue to request his return to the industry.
However, his retirement provided him the time to return to his roots on the ranch.
Patrick grew up with a love for horses, ranch life, and the expansive and varied nature of
New Mexico. Just North of Santa Fe, off the high road to Taos, you will find Patrick’s home
away from home, Vadito. This place fostered his love and knowledge of ranch life and for
horses. To this day Patrick spends most weekends here with his wife Judy. During the endless
days, in the dry New Mexico heat, they find comfort and joy riding their horses, gardening and
tending to the cattle.
As someone born and raised New Mexico True, Patrick’s values are centered in
protecting the land of enchantment through the conservation and protection of the beautiful
land, and the horses.
