Bug

Bug has done well with her halter training. She is easy to catch and her leading and backing are improving. She is friendly with people and is the dominant mare in her herd. She will continue to get groundwork training throughout the year.

Bug is getting tall! She continues to be curious and friendly.

November 1, 2020:
Bug and her roommates have moved to the pen with easy access to our round bull pen. She is now learning to accept being in the bull pen and focusing on her handler without her friends in there with her. She finds it challenging to be separated from her buddies but will keep working on it!

September 1, 2020:
Now that Bug has been weaned, she has learned to be independent, friendly and brave.  She has had a halter on several times now and will learn to yield to gentle pressure soon.  She likes to be rubbed all over and is picking up her feet.

June 7, 2020:
Bug is very curious about humans and is interested in knowing what we are all about. Right now, she is learning about boundaries and patience. She is accepting petting bravely but can still have shy moments. Bug wants to jump right into learning. It is great that she is eager!

Bug is an adorable smokey gray grade filly born on 4/1/20, no fooling. Bug has the most unusual marking on her head that really stands out against her dark color. She is a strong foal that immediately started to show off for everyone with athletic moves. She has moves that make you think she has been in dressage training. Yes, cute as a bug.
