Levi is a smart and confident little guy, who weighs about 900 lbs. He has been out on multiple solo trail rides and handled it very well. He can get a little hesitant when it comes to learning something new, but with repetition and consistency he eventually figures it out. He has shown to not be too spooky or worried with new objects, including flag, tarp, bags, etc. This guy will be one sturdy mount with more training and time under saddle. Levi still requires an experienced rider at this time to help further his training.
Levi has been under saddle for a little over six months. He is comfortable in the arena and has been out on the trail a handful of times. Levelheaded and smart, he is a pleasure to train. He is not yet a beginner horse but could be with some time and miles. In the meantime, he needs a rider that has the knowledge and skill to help him out if he gets confused or worried.
Levi is a sorrel grade QH-type gelding. He is very early in his under-saddle training and needs an experienced adopter who has the knowledge and skills to continue his training. He has an easy-going temperament and has low reactivity. He is available for adoption as a riding horse to the right home! Levi stands at around 14.1 hh and weighs about 900 lbs
Levi has started his groundwork education. He leads and backs, yields his front and hindquarters, sends out in a circle over obstacles, and has been introduced to both a flag, stick and string. He picks up and holds all four feet. He has been calm and easy to work with, and we expect he will continue to do well in his training.
