Kat is taking a break from groundwork to have some time to just be a horse. She has days when she asks for a small amount of attention from volunteers as they pass through mucking, but mostly prefers that the people give her space.
December 2021:
Kat has improved in leading, backing, yielding HQ/FQ. She struggles with catching, tying, and picking up her feet. She is a big, beautiful mare who has had some lameness issues that come and go. Kat struggles with trusting her handler and finds learning new things or correcting bad habits challenging.
2018
Kat is still not trusting and remains somewhat difficult to catch. She has some lameness issues in both of her front legs.
