Beau is a 2018 sorrel grade QH-type gelding. He is doing well in saddle training and needs an experienced adopter who has the knowledge and skills to continue his training. He has an easy-going temperament, has low reactivity and is more “whoa” than “go”. He is available for adoption as a riding horse to the right home! Beau stands at 14.1hh.

Beau is learning groundwork skills at THS and through many generous sponsors has been started under saddle.

Beau came into THS as a very underweight and under-muscled stallion with neglected feet. He has now been gelded and his condition has improved considerably over the past few months, but it will take time for his body to recover fully. He is still growing out some weak and distorted hoof material, and is starting to gain back muscle with regular in-hand groundwork to improve his movement and comfort. He is friendly and easygoing, but can sometimes be pushy or inattentive to his handler.
