Valles Caldera Horse rides on June 15th, 2013 to benefit The Horse Shelter
Lunch catered by the Whole Hog Cafe - Ticket $125 ($100 will be tax-deductible)

It is a rare opportunity to ride horses out there. Each group rides independently.
There are no trails, so people are free to ride in any direction they please.
We have seen coyote and elk out there.
The Grande Meadow, which is the big concave meadow you can see from highway 4, is 14 miles long and 10 miles wide.
There is still hot magnum 3 miles below the surface. It is one of only 3 active Calderons in the US today.
The heat below the surface is the reason no trees grow out there.
Space is limited to 50 horses. Please reserve as a riding group with Sue Murphy at
suemurphy723@earthlink.net
Payment required in advance to The Horse Shelter.
Reserve your space now.
A BIG thank you to Sue Murphy for organizing
this ride for us!
